Career Notes: Melindy, 22, played 52 games last season for the Rapid City Rush before being sent by the Arizona Coyotes to the Pittsburgh Penguins. He finished the season with the Wheeling Nailers, appearing in 16 games during the regular season and 21 games during Wheeling's postseason run to the Kelly Cup Finals. He was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the third round (#88) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Spent his rookie season with the American Hockey League's Portland Pirates in 2013-14, recording two goals in 38 games.
