Chuck-A-Puck Fundraising
Being a part of the Wichita Thunder Chuck-a-Puck Fundraising Program is a fun way for non-profit and school organizations to earn 30% of proceeds from Chuck-a-Puck sales. The Chuck-a-Puck promotion is a way to win some really cool prizes during the second intermission! Fans who have purchased a Chuck-a-Puck will throw their puck onto the ice, aiming for the center jackpot bucket or other targets.
Please keep the following in mind when considering the Wichita Thunder as a fundraising opportunity:
- Your organization must be non-profit or a school organization.
- Your organization must sell a minimum of 50 tickets to the game you are going to be selling Chuck-a-Pucks.
- If you want a table for your organization or to hold a raffle, you must sell a minimum of 75 tickets.
- Tickets are sold at a discounted price. When you reach the minimum number of tickets sold, your organization is
able to earn money back on each ticket sold*, as well as 1/3 of what you sell in Chuck-a-Pucks. - We require a minimum of six volunteers (maximum of 12), at least half must be 18 years of age or older.
- Volunteers will be able to go on the ice during the 2nd intermission to help pick up Chuck-a-Pucks (signed waiver is required).
To be considered, please turn in an application to the Thunder office. Chuck-a-Puck dates are filled in the order they are received. Please refer to the Chuck-a-Puck Information page for further details involving the Chuck-a-Puck sales process. If your organization is selected, you will be contacted and have everything explained in detail.
If the minimum number of required tickets sold is not met, your organization will still be able sell Chuck-a-Pucks; however, you will not be eligible to earn money back from ticket sales.
