
Career Notes: Entering his sixth pro season, Matt returns for his second year with the Thunder. Matt's first four seasons of his career were spent in the ECHL. Matt scored 21 goals and 34 points in 59 games as a rookie for the Alaska Aces in 2006-07. He tallied 19 more goals the following year with 18 assists in 58 games for Alaska. Over his career in the ECHL Matt has compiled 144 points in 194 games (74 goals and 70 assists). He played in 51 games for the ECHL's Stockton Thunder in 2009-10, scoring 28 goals and 27 assists while finishing +15. Last season was arguably his best as a professional scoring 39 goals and 27 assists in 65 games for Wichita, earning the teams only CHL All-Star honor (and scoring a hat trick in the game). Matt was named the Thunder 2011 Most Valuable Player.
