Career Notes: The 23-year-old out of St. Georges, Quebec enters his fourth season as a pro. The former fourth round draft pick of the Minnesota Wild (#107 overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft signed an entry level deal in 2015. He appeared in 54 games for the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild during his rookie season, recording six points (4g, 2a) and 50 penalty minutes. Last season, he played the majority of the year with the Rapid City Rush. He brings 143 games of pro experience to the Thunder blueline, having also spent time with the Quad City Mallards in 2016-17.

Prior to turning pro, Labbe played three seasons for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Shawinigan Cataractes. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound defenseman scored a career-high 51 points (15g, 36a) in 2014-15 and finished with 106 points (31g, 71a) during his junior career.
