Grant Wilson


Grant grew-up in Scottsdale, Arizona and went to Cal-State Fullerton on a baseball scholarship. When a back injury ended his playing career, he moved into sports management. Grant joined the Thunder following the 2016-17 season, after spending 16-years working in professional baseball.

He began his career in 2001 as the Director of Group Ticket Sales with the River City Rascals of the Frontier League. He worked his way up to become General Manager of the Cowlitz Black Bears of the West Coast League in 2009. He later served as General Manager of the Klamath Falls Gems of the West Coast League, before working with the El Paso Chihuahuas (Pacific Coast League) and the Sugar Land Skeeters (Atlantic League).

Grant most recently spent two years as Vice-President of the Great West League Portland Pickles, helping the team play to 99.6% of capacity in their 2016 inaugural season. He’s is a life-long hockey fan, having played hockey as a youngster. He spent much of his youth travelling around the National Hockey League with his dad, who was a NHL play-by-play broadcaster with the Chicago Black Hawks and St. Louis Blues for 22-seasons. Grant is single and makes his home in Wichita.
