Six Players Headed to American Hockey League Camps

Wichita, KS (Sept. 30th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced this afternoon that six players have been invited to attend American Hockey League camps that open up this weekend.

Attending Binghamton Senators camp will be Jack Rodewald, Vincent Arseneau, Alexis Loiseau, Alexis Vanier and Louick Marcotte. James Melindy will attend Chicago Wolves training camp.

Rodewald was recently invited to Senators' rookie camp, which was his third-straight NHL camp. Last season, he was invited to Toronto's camp and Buffalo the season before that.

Arseneau will be attending his fourth AHL camp, joining Lake Erie during his rookie season, headed to Manchester during his second year as a pro and last season with San Jose.

Loiseau will appear in his second-straight AHL camp as he was in Bakersfield last season.

Vanier attended rookie camp with the San Jose Sharks in 2014, which was the same year he was drafted.

Marcotte will also appear in his second-straight AHL camp, skating with the Stockton Heat last year.

Melindy played two seasons for the Portland Pirates and also went to camp with the Springfield Falcons this past year.

The Thunder kicks off their 25th Anniversary season on Saturday, October 15th against the Tulsa Oilers. Season tickets are on sale now. Place a $25 deposit for up to four seats and pay it off in 14 payments. Contact a Thunder representative at the office today.
