LAST WEEKEND - Wichita began the holiday week on Wednesday night with the first of three-straight games against the Tulsa Oilers. Tulsa jumped out to a three-goal lead before the Thunder battled back. The Oilers held on late for a 4-3 victory. On Friday night, the Oilers scored two goals in the first 1:50 of the second to take a 2-0 advantage. Wichita fought back to tie the game in the third, but the Oilers prevailed as Ben Murphy scored the game-winner with just over two minutes remaining. The two teams switched venues on Saturday, but the outcome didn't change. Wichita fell to the Oilers in a shootout by the final of 2-1 at the BOK Center.

STREAKING - Alexis Loiseau has been the Thunder's most consistent scorer through the first 15 games. He added three goals last week, recording one in each contest against Tulsa. He has five goals in his last four games and is tied for the league-lead with 13. The second-year forward needs one more to equal his career-high, tallying 14 goals last season in Norfolk.

MOONLIGHTING - Nathan Moon is preparing to face his old team this weekend. The Thunder acquired him in a trade with Rapid City for forward Triston Grant. In six games with the Thunder, he has recorded five points (3g, 2a) and is second on the team with 13 points.

SAINT NICK - Nick Trecapelli has become a reliable option for the Thunder offensively as well as back on the blue line. The Guelph, Ontario native has assists in three of his last four outings and has three multi-point games so far this season. Trecapelli has 10 points (3g, 7a) in 15 games and is tied for fifth place among rookie blueliners in that category.

SPECIAL - Wichita's special teams have been a strength to this point in the season. The Thunder ranks first on the power play, operating at 25.6% and second on the penalty kill at 90.7%. Wichita killed off the first 22 power plays in the season-series that Tulsa had before giving up a goal in the third period on Saturday night.

REGULATION IS BEST - Wichita played its first game past regulation on Saturday night. The Thunder were the last team in the ECHL to play into overtime or a shootout.

AHL UPDATE - Binghamton finished off the month of November with a home contest against Syracuse. The Crunch claimed a 4-2 victory over the Senators. Jack Rodewald added his third goal of the season in a Senators uniform on Friday night. He has five points since joining Binghamton at the beginning of the month.
