A native of Moorestown, New Jersey, Lomurno graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia in 1992. He started with the Thunder in 1993 as an intern and is entering his 33rd season with the team. 

Following the internship, he has worked in almost every department within the organization. Lomurno moved into ticket sales in 1994 and eventually became the director of public relations and play-by-play announcer through 2004, when he was promoted to assistant general manager. During that time, he even dressed for two games as emergency goal-tender. Lomurno became general manager of the Thunder in 2008, and was charged with running both the Thunder and the expansion Wichita Wingnuts of the American Association of Professional Baseball, until the Wingnuts were sold to a local ownership group in 2010. 

Lomurno was twice named Central Hockey League Public Relations Executive of the Year (2000 and 2006), was a finalist for the CHL Executive of the Year Award in both 2013 and 2014 and was named ECHL Executive of the Year in 2022. Lomurno was elected to the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame in 2022. Joel and his wife, Miranda, have two daughters - Cincy and Charlotte.

Jason Mals joined the Thunder in 2004 as a sales associate and the radio announcer of the team. A native of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Mals attended Penn State University from 1999-02 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Kinesiology and Sociology. 

After graduating from school, he was named as the Voice of the North American Hockey League’s Billings Bulls in 2003.

Mals also worked for Steckline Communications for four years, hosting the afternoon drive talk show, The Press Box, as well as being the station’s high school basketball voice. He also served as the voice of the Newman Jets before returning to the Thunder in 2011. 

Currently, he handles the team’s public and media relations, sales and voice of the Thunder. He has earned several league honors, including the 2012-13 CHL Communications Director of the Year, 2013-14 CHL Spirit Award and finalist for the 2018-19 ECHL PR Director of the Year. He has been nominated five times for the  Joe Babik ECHL PR/Media Relations Director of the Year Award including this past season.

Mals has a 17-year-old daughter who he loves to spend time with away from the arena. He enjoys golf, football, his dog Addison and The Big Bang Theory.

Levy joins the Thunder after having the same role with the Utah Grizzlies. In his short time with the Grizzlies, Levy was presented with a league award for Most Creative Revenue Generation for his Cornhole on Ice & Ink Against Cancer promotion.

A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Cameron graduated from the University of Utah in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. Cameron grew up close to the sports world and played both varsity football & varsity hockey.

In his professional career, Levy worked as a Student equipment manager & a recruiting intern for the University of Utah.

John Reilly is joining the Thunder for his first season in Wichita and eighth year in professional sports. A native of Binghamton, New York, he comes to the Air Capital after working one year with the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies. Reilly graduated from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

He brings a wealth of experience, having worked in the American Hockey League with the Binghamton Devils and Tucson Roadrunners. Reilly has a proven track record of driving revenue, building high-performing teams, and delivering impactful game-day experiences.

Parker joins the Thunder as an Account Executive focusing on Season Ticket Memberships. He recently graduating from the University of Iowa. A native of Urbandale, Iowa, Brueck graduated with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management with a concentration in PR/Communications. He also also earned an Event Management Certificate. Brueck has been involved in sports his whole life, having worked with the University of Iowa football team. He spent time in San Diego with numerous organizations such as the San Diego Wave FC, the USWNT, The Farmers Insurance Open, etc. as he helped consulting for potential corporate sponsorships.

Madison Bishop returns to the area after spending time in Tulsa, Oklahoma and St. Louis, Missouri. The Derby, Kansas native is a graduate of Wichita State University, earning her bachelor's in performing arts and theatre with a focus in stage management. She is excited to work with local organizations and non-profits, as well as taking over as the Merchandise Director. 

Waner joins the Thunder after graduating from the University of Kansas last May with a Bachelor of Science in Business, double majoring in Marketing and Accounting, and a Certificate in Professional Selling. 

He began his career in sports entertainment as a ticket sales intern with the Kansas City Mavericks. Waner is excited to return to the Thunder, the team where he attended his first hockey game, and many more, stemming back to the days at the Kansas Coliseum.

Woods joins the Thunder as an Account Executive after earning her MBA from Oklahoma State University. She also completed her undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Sports Management.

Originally from Mannford, Oklahoma, Woods brings four years of experience in sales and service with Oklahoma State Athletics and, most recently, completed a Marketing and Fan Development Internship with the Seattle Kraken.

She is passionate about fan engagement, community outreach, and creating memorable experiences that connect fans, businesses, and organizations with Thunder hockey

Gallegos joins the Thunder as a Director of Fan Engagement after her first season with the Thunder as a merchandise and community relations intern.

A native of Derby, Kansas, Gallegos is a student at Wichita State University, pursuing her Bachelor of Sports Management. She is excited to start her career in hockey. Outside of the Thunder, Gallegos loves spending time with her therapy dog, Briar.

Briar enters her first season with the Wichita Thunder after successfully completing an internship during the 2025-26 campaign. Known around the office for her love of attention, Briar can usually be found making rounds for pets, belly rubs, and compliments from staff and fans alike.

A proud supporter of all things pink, Briar brings plenty of style and personality to the Thunder organization. When she's not hard at work boosting morale, she's spending quality time with her favorite companion — her beloved stuffed T-Dog.

Briar is excited to officially join the Thunder family for the 2026-27 season and looks forward to meeting fans, making new friends, and ensuring she receives the appropriate amount of admiration every game night.
